A Residential Interior New Construction which included Interior Design, Custom Furniture Design and Decoration. RRL Design and Architecture created a small yet luxurious interior for this pied-a-terre where attention to detail, luxurious finishes and customization were essential. The new interior is a showcase of custom built-ins that add double functionality and meet the owner’s specific needs. The use of rich materials and textures throughout create the zen feeling of living in a 5-star hotel suite which is what the owner desired. A set of sliding glass panels that integrate into a central freestanding bookcase allow the space to be separated into living and sleeping areas giving the illusion of a larger apartment. Built-In dining table, bookcases and home office are seamlessly integrated into one design. The furnishings are simple and neutral to allow one to focus on the eclectic accent pieces that have been collected throughout the owner’s world travels.
