Ricardo Romo-Leroux, principal of RRL Architecture and Design, is an innovative architect with particular expertise in residential architecture, interiors and urban design. With a Masters of Architecture from Tulane University and a Master of Science in Architecture and Urban Design from Columbia University, Ricardo’s educational background gives him an understanding of both the classical elements of architecture as well as today’s more contemporary approach to design. Having travelled extensively around the world, Ricardo’s exposure to both contemporary and traditional ideas continues to inform his passion for eclectic design.
Since founding his own architecture studio, Ricardo has focused on developing RRL’s residential and interior portfolio, domestically and abroad, often in collaboration with other firms. Having completed a number of residential and mix-use projects, as well as urban master plans in the U.S., Asia and the Middle East, Ricardo has also collaborated extensively on several award-winning competitions.
Excellent organization and communication skills partnered with good time management and focus on detail have created a history of professional success. Ricardo focuses on engaging the client in a collaborative design process from beginning to end achieving a successful design that derives from an imagination for possibilities.
