Union Square Apartment

A Residential Interior Renovation which included Interior Design, Custom Furniture Design. RRL Design and Architecture envisioned a present-day interior for an old 1960s one-bedroom apartment in need of a long-overdue renovation. The layout was adjusted to meet the needs of current times. The living room and bedroom were divided by a telescoping wall that seamlessly disappears into an adjacent wall when the owner is home alone allowing her to experience the space in different ways. The old enclosed kitchen was completely rearranged and integrated into the rest of the apartment while a bar area and dining nook were created. Storage and a walk-in closet were created as well. The new design features accent lighting throughout the space and a walnut-paneled wall which includes frameless doors to the closet and bathroom.
